Infrastructure Specialist

We invite high caliber personnel to fill the following position:

The Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for the comprehensive support and management of IT operations, focusing on the day-to-day administration of the data center/DR site and network infrastructure. This role includes implementing IT infrastructure deployment projects and ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of all systems.

 Responsibilities:

• Data Center Operations: Conduct daily operations and administration of data center/DR site, ensuring all systems function efficiently and effectively.
• Network Infrastructure Support: Provide support for network infrastructure, including troubleshooting and resolving issues to maintain network integrity.
• System Support: Deliver comprehensive support for system configuration, administration, maintenance, incident diagnostics, and resolution for all applications, ensuring related configurations and troubleshooting are effectively handled.
• VMware Management: Manage VMware hosts and guest operating systems (Windows / Red Hat / CentOS) to ensure virtualization environments are optimized and secure.
• Server and Storage Management: Manage and maintain Hitachi, Dell, and HP servers as well as other brand solutions, including backup solutions, to ensure high availability, performance, and data protection.
• Cloud Management: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) to manage and deploy cloud-based solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, inventory, implementations, operations, and maintenance procedures.
• Helpdesk Support: Record, analyze, and resolve assigned helpdesk calls, providing timely and effective support to end-users.
• Availability: Be available for off-site duties, extra working hours, and on-call/after-hours support as required to ensure continuous IT service availability.
• Other Duties: Perform any additional tasks or projects assigned by the supervisor.

 Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent education in Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in the IT field with a strong focus on IT infrastructure and cloud services/products
• Broad understanding of IT infrastructure, including but not limited to: network (such as LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, SSL, DNS, DHCP), Windows Server, Exchange, VMware, M365, and server/storage/HCI Solution/WAF/Load Balancer solutions
• Good interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and integration with on-premises infrastructure.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE/MCITP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Professional) are a plus.
