We invite high caliber personnel to fill the following position:

 

Post: Infrastructure Specialist

 

The Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for the comprehensive support and management of IT operations, focusing on the day-to-day administration of the data center/DR site and network infrastructure. This role includes implementing IT infrastructure deployment projects and ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of all systems.

 

 Responsibilities:

  • Data Center Operations: Conduct daily operations and administration of data center/DR site, ensuring all systems function efficiently and effectively.
  • Network Infrastructure Support: Provide support for network infrastructure, including troubleshooting and resolving issues to maintain network integrity.
  • System Support: Deliver support for system configuration, administration, maintenance, incident diagnostics, and resolution for all applications.
  • VMware Management: Manage VMware hosts and guest operating systems (Windows / Red Hat / CentOS) to ensure virtualization environments are optimized and secure.
  • Server and Storage Management: Manage and maintain servers and backup solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and data protection.
  • Cloud Management: Assist with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) to manage and deploy cloud-based solutions.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation for system configurations, inventory, implementations, operations, and maintenance procedures.
  • Helpdesk Support: Record, analyze, and resolve assigned helpdesk calls, providing timely and effective support to end-users.
  • Availability: Be available for off-site duties, extra working hours, and on-call/after-hours support as required to ensure continuous IT service availability.
  • Other Duties: Perform any additional tasks or projects assigned by the supervisor.

 Requirements:

  • Diploma or equivalent education in Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in the IT field with a focus on IT infrastructure and cloud services/products.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, including but not limited to: network (such as LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, SSL, DNS, DHCP), Windows Server, Exchange, VMware, M365, and server/storage solutions.
  • Good interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Basic experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and integration with on-premises infrastructure.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE/MCITP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Professional) are a plus but not required.
