Our Service
Po Leung Kuk is dedicated to serve the needs of all ages through its over 200 social service units in Hong Kong and develop a caring social safety net to people in need. Adhering to the core values of "Protecting
the Young and the Innocent", we make good use of social resources to provide diverse and quality social services, including integrated family services, child care services, rehabilitation services, elderly services and medical and integrated health service, in the past 3 years, we have recorded over 1.1 million user contacts annually.
We continuously review the service provided and respond to the increasing needs of social services with cautious, prudent and with planning to utilize the Lump Sum Grant and the resources of the Social Welfare Department. We also closely monitored and maintained the administration and management expenses at a reasonable level.

On the other hand, there is service gap that call for the Kuk’s self-resources to be contributed to over 50,000 seniors, children, persons with intellectual or physical disability and patients. The KUK has our share of social responsibility, of which is much relied on the efforts and support from different stakeholders so as to provide continuous and extensive services to those in need.

Child Care Services
The child care services aim to provide quality and appropriate education and daycare services for young children from newborns to 6 years old, including day crèche service, kindergarten cum nursery service, special child care and training service, so as to support families in need and dual-income parents, as well as nurturing the whole-person development of children under an inspiring and safe environment.

Since inception of the services in 1970s, the Kuk is committed to providing a wide spectrum of holistic and quality rehabilitation services for disabled persons and their families in a respectful and equal manner.

Elderly Services
Po Leung Kuk started to formulate development plans for elderly services in 1980s, and has established a total of 60 elderly service units at present, serving elderly based upon the “Five-Point Holistic Care” principal, and proactively promoting “quality living in elderly” in order to lead them to “live life to the fullest”.
