Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree holder, preferably in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Finance, or a related discipline;
  • Over 8 years relevant Administration experience with at least 5 years at managerial level, preferably in sizeable company;
  • Experience in leadership and management skills, knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations would be an advantage;
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, budget management and problem-solving skills;
  • Good command of English and Chinese for both speaking and writing; and
  • Well-versed in MS Office and relevant administrative software processing is a must.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for departmental administration and aligning with the overall strategic objectives of the Social Services Department and Po Leung Kuk;
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of administrative staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment;
  • Streamline departmental processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize workflows and resource allocation;
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive staff development program to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and competencies;
  • Assist Assistant Principal Social Services Secretary (Governance and Coordination) to manage and monitor departmental budgets, ensuring responsible and efficient use of resources;
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including staff, senior management, external partners, and government agencies; and
  • Oversee and manage special projects as assigned, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets and objectives.
