Po Leung Kuk ZhejiangTertiary Education Study Tour

"Po Leung Kuk Zhejiang University Education Excursion" was held from 27 June to 2 July, 2017. Seventy-one students, teachers, principals, consultants and assisting staff in total participated in the tour. The aim of this study tour is to deepen students' understanding of theaspects of tertiary education and the development of high technology in mainland China. Participants visited three renowned universities and one secondary school, including Zhejiang University, Zhejiang Conservatory of Music, Wenzhou Medical University and Wenzhou No.22 Senior Middle School. Moreover, students visitedZhejiang Zoland Animation Co. Ltd and Zhejiang Hangzhou Future Sci-tech City , which help them understand the future development of the high technology industry in mainland China.

To enhance the self-learning and critical thinking abilities of students, students in groups were required to complete project reports within five assigned themes, including "The tertiary education development of Hangzhou/ Wenzhou" or "Advantages and disadvantages for students to continue their studies in the Mainland","The new technological development in Hangzhou/ Wenzhou", "The history and culture of Hangzhou/ Wenzhou" and "The social life and working opportunitiesof Hangzhou/ Wenzhou citizens".
