International Art and Design Competition

Po Leung Kuk has organized the International Art and Design Competition since 2000 and successfully invited the Education Bureau, the Education University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Society for Education in Art as joint-organizations. The competition aims to offer a platform for students to explore their art talents and create original works to share their views.
 
In order to raise public awareness about global issues, the international year declared by the United Nations is adopted as the competition's theme every year. Students are encouraged to express their interpretation and feelings about the theme with various art forms. Throughout the years, 30 countries/regions have participated in the competition, contributing to an average of over 2,000 outstanding entries every year.
