The kick-off ceremony of PLK Rugby Buddy

Po Leung Kuk has always actively encouraged its students to engage in a wide range of sports. Co-organized with the Hong Kong Rugby Union, the first two-year Inclusive Rugby Programme in Hong Kong has been officially launched in PLK Anita L.L. Chan (Centenary) School and PLK Grandmont Primary School. Through fair play and teamwork, the programme fosters positive interaction and communication between students with SEN and their mainstream peers to achieve social inclusion.

The kick-off ceremony of the programme was held at PLK Anita L.L. Chan (Centenary) School on 21 September 2019. Mr Ching Nam MA, CStJ, JP, Chairman of PLK stated that the Kuk has all along endeavored to promote all-round education. One of the emphasis this year is to facilitate “One Student One Sport”, aiming to encourage healthy exercise habits among students and to construct a healthy environment of joy.
