Po Leung Kuk Affiliated Primary Schools Education Seminar 2024/25
Po Leung Kuk Affiliated Primary Schools Education Seminar 2024/25 took place at the University Hall of Hong Kong Baptist University on 25th November 2024. The Kuk was honoured to have invited Ms. PANG Melissa Kaye, BBS, MH, JP, Chairman of the Hong Kong Press Council and former President of the Hong Kong Law Society, as the honourable officiating guest.
The seminar was divided into two parts. The first part featured a thematic sharing session, where Veteran journalists CHAN Siu-ping and LIU Zhi-wen discussed the topic of “True and False Information.” The second part included a forum discussion on the present and future development of AI, conducted by Professor Raymond LI, Executive Committee Member of the Hong Kong Press Council and Head of the Department of Journalism at Hong Kong Baptist University, Dr. CHAN Hung Cheong, Morton, Director of the Quality School Improvement Project and Professional Consultant at the Hong Kong Institute of Educational Research at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Mr. LEUNG Wing-lun, CEO of UFO Tech Academy, along with the coordinating principals.
Over 1,200 primary school teachers attended the event. Our Chief Executive Officer Mr. Timothy CHAN also showed great support for the event.
