“Tackling life” Rugby Training Programme

In recent year, Po Leung Kuk has been actively promoting Rugby at our affiliated primary schools with the support from donations by generous patrons. Since the academic year of 2012/13, the Hong Kong Rugby Union (HKRU) has been offering professional coaches to provide free Rugby training in English, benefiting over 5,000 students from 20 affiliated participating schools. In the academic year 2016/17, the Kuk has formed two Po Leung Kuk Joint Rugby Teams which will travel to Beijing each year to participate in an Annual Rugby Competition. In May 2018, the two teams won 2nd Runner-up in the Cup event and 3rd Runner-up in the Plate event in the “Beijing Primary Schools Touch Tournament 2018 ".
