Hong Kong Inter-Primary School Debate Competition

Since the school year 2010/11, Po Leung Kuk has been organizing the "Hong Kong Inter-Primary School Debate Competition" which opened up a platform for the primary school students to engage in debates, with a view to improving their thinking and public speaking skills. Besides, it is also hoped that students could take this opportunity to learn from and exchange ideas with various participating counterparts. This year is the 9th year, and the competition has been welcomed and supported by various schools and academics. And since the academic year 2016/17, the competition has been funded by the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research (SCOLAR).
