The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust—Jockey Club Food Assistance Programme “Electronic Food Bank” Service and Jockey Club “Agility in New Normal” Facilities Enhancement Scheme
The Kuk received funding from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust to provide food assistance and delivery arrangements to the programme beneficiaries through a one-stop E-Food Bank platform. The programme also provides various community and education activities to raise the awareness of the beneficiaries on healthy diet and stress management.
In response to the pandemic, The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust sponsored the enhancement of ventilation systems at the Kuk’s 22 day care service centres for the disabled, 4 special schools and 18 day care centres for the elderly so as to strengthen infection prevention and control. Funding was also provided to purchase electronic devices for centres and schools to meet the demands of a new normal of online activities and e-learning. A projected number of over 6,000 people will be benefited.
